Munchkins Kids Cooking run After School Clubs in Blackheath for 4-11 year olds & Teenagers. We also offer workshops for pupils, staff and families in schools (see our schools info page)

Munchkins After School Clubs for 4-11 year olds:

• Fussy eaters are encouraged to try new foods!
• Keen cooks get hands on and messy in the kitchen!
• Kids learn about healthy eating and great food!
• Budding chefs develop life skills and confidence!
• Preparing and eating food becomes fun!

Location: St Michael & All Angels Church Hall, 1 Pond Rd, Blackheath, SE3
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time
Spring Term - January 12th - 30th March
Summer Term - April 20th - July 8th
Autumn Term - September 14th - 8th December
Times: 4.15 - 5.45pm (1 ½ hour sessions)

What happens at Munchkins After School Club?

Over the term children cover different aspects of healthy eating and cookery techniques through dynamic, hands on sessions. Children work in ability groups, gaining certificates for their progress. At the end of each lesson children will take home what they have baked. Parents are invited at the end of term for a certificate ceremony and to taste the results of their children's hard work!

Munchkins Advanced After School Club for 11-14 year olds:

Our new Advanced Cookery after school club at Blackheath High School started really well last term, and this term it will be starting on April 26th and running every Monday (excluding holidays) for the summer term. The Advanced Club is open to boys and girls in school years 6-9 and is a great opportunity for kids who already have some basic cookery knowledge to develop their skills and confidence! Places are limited to get in touch to reserve yours.
